The Sydney Opera House Market must have the best backdrop to any outdoor market in Australia and probably any market in the world. It sits on the doorstep to the Sydney Opera House, close to the water of Circular Quay and has an uninterrupted view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
All roads lead to this Market as it's within walking distance of Circular Quay rail station, Circular Quay ferry terminus and many bus lines pass or terminate at Circular Quay.
The Opera House Market is open every Sunday from 09:00 to 17:00 (except when it rains or special Opera House events require use of the fore court so it's best to check with your hotel before taking a stroll over to browse though it.
